Inserting Rows

Every spreadsheet deserves a heading but as you can see there is simply not enough room.

Fortunately electronic spreadsheets have the ability to insert and delete both rows and columns easily.

Exercise

[] Select the entire first row using the method described in the selection section above.

[] Open the INSERT menu and select the ROWS option. A blank row is added above the selected row.

[] Repeat the process so that you have two blank rows at the top of your spreadsheet.

[] Select cell C1 and enter the following text :

Pig in a Sty Restaurant- Profit Budget

[] Insert a row to separate Total and Profit.

Your spreadsheet up to now should look like this :
