Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Excel XP, also known as Excel 2002, is the latest in a range of spreadsheet programs to come from Microsoft.

Other recent versions include: Excel 5, 7, 97 and 2000.

However it doesn't much matter which version of Excel you use.
They are very much the same so a knowledge of one will make learning another, easy.

Excel uses the Microsoft Windows graphical environment to operate in and the user should have a sound knowledge of using Windows before going on.

Excel gives the user access to a huge range of features from simple spreadsheeting to creating custom applications that do not even look like Excel at all.

This course will look at the uses of Excel in creating and manipulating spreadsheets.
