Flash Introduction

Flash is a tool to create vector-based, interactive animations called Movies

Flash Features

• small file size swf is a very compressed format
• now supported by major browser without plugins (not NS6)
• motion tweening
• shape tweening
• alpha channel effects
• interactivity via actions and buttons
• dynamic content delivery via server side Flash Generator
• can be used to add mp3 sound to a web page
• programmable using ActionScript which is actually javascript.
