Identifying Parts of a Spreadsheet

The Title Bar displays the name of the open Workbook.
It has all the features of any Windows Title Bar.
For example, double clicking it maximises the Window.
The Formula Bar displays any formula
in the selected or active cell on the Worksheet.
The area to the left of the down arrow
shows the cell reference of the current active cell
The Worksheet consists of Rows and Columns of Cells.
You enter numbers, labels and formulas in these cells.
Cells are identified by a column letter and row number.
On this sheet the Active cell is cell B3
Clicking on the Sheet Tabs or using the arrow buttons
allows you to change sheets.
Right-clicking on a Sheet Tab allows you to Rename a sheet.
The Scroll bars allow you move around the Worksheet.
If you have a lot of spare time try moving to the bottom right
hand corner, cell IV65536
The Status Bar gives hints on what to do in
menus and displays the current status of
Num Lock, Caps Lock, Insert keys and Calculations.
